 All Engineers deployed to LodgeNet installation sites are full time employees of LodgeNet. 

The Installation Services division of LodgeNet has grown and adapted as the industry has changed over recent years. Where once the emphasis was on new deployments in existing locations, (both wired and wireless), the current landscape is revealing more of a converged solution: utilizing components of previous deployments while adding new technologies and capabilities with forward looking applications in mind. These installations include components from such diverse infrastructures as wireless, HPNA, Ethernet and various flavors of DSL.

 With LodgeNet Engineering and Installation services staff, the breadth of knowledge needed for such converged and diverse deployments is on hand and ready, making LodgeNet the easy choice when faced with the need to augment an existing installation while at the same time being cost aware of the capital outlay already deployed.

 To this end we have developed a Installation services group that takes all aspects of a customer’s needs into consideration, and employs the following Best Practices and processes to ensure a quality installation.

 The LodgeNet installation process is comprised of four distinct phases: Engineering Site Survey, Pre-Installation Planning, Installation & Quality Assurance, and Training & Post-QA.  Each of these phases has distinct milestones that must be achieved in order for the installation to pass LodgeNet's certification process.

 To assure the finest quality for our customers, LodgeNet only utilizes in-house, certified technicians with wireless LAN (WLAN), RF Engineering and networking skill sets for performing engineering site surveys.  Our installation teams are also certified in Broadband Fixed Wireless technology as well as experienced in deploying visitor-based networks (VBNs) in the hospitality industry.  As a Cisco® Premier Certified Partner®, LodgeNet customers can be assured they are getting the best network equipment configured and installed by certified professionals.
